WHO CAN BECOME A MEMBER?
Any person who does work of a legal nature – those working in a law office (secretaries, file clerks, document clerks, administrators, legal assistants, paralegals, law librarians, and even attorneys), court personnel and judges, educators, students, and those employed by legal vendors (document service companies, legal copy companies, etc.) – can become a member of NALS. Each Member must also agree to comply with the NALS Code of Ethics and Code of Professional Responsibility.
Regular Membership
$145 per year* (includes national ($130*) and local ($15) membership dues)
Associate Membership
$90 per year* (includes national ($75*) and local ($15) dues). An Associate Membership applies to educators, judges and attorneys.
Student Membership
$44 per year* (includes national ($29*) and local ($15) membership dues). A Student Membership applies to those persons taking legal related courses with a minimum of 9 credit hours.
